How the day goes

A day out, hour by hour

Nothing is rushed and nothing is forced — we follow your cat, not the clock.

  1. Morning

    Arrive and settle in

Your cat gets its own calm room first — sniff around, find the window, take it slow.

  2. Late morning

    Hello, Tejas

If your cat is curious, a gentle hello with Tejas (and maybe Toofan from the cat tree). If not, no hello — just a happy day.

  3. Midday

    Roam and play

Cat trees, tunnels, wand play and birdwatching from the netted balcony — at your cat's own pace.

  4. Afternoon

    Sunny nap

The best patch of sun in the house, a meal on your schedule and fresh water.

  5. Evening

    Photos and pick-up

The day's best photos on WhatsApp, a sleepy cat in the carrier, and a full report when you collect.

The welcome committee

Meet Tejas and Toofan

Toofan the tabby cat looking out from a cosy grey and cream cave bed

Tejas is our joy boy and self-appointed welcome committee. He sniffs hello, shows guests the best window and shares the sunny spot. Toofan, shy and graceful, prefers to supervise from the cat tree. Neither is ever forced on anyone — if your cat would rather have a quiet room, it gets one.

Safe and calm

A few simple rules

What we ask

Same care rules as a stay: vaccinations up to date (certificate at drop-off), healthy on the day, and adult cats neutered or spayed. One guest family at a time — your cat never meets strangers' cats.

Checking your garden or balcony plants? See plants that are toxic to cats (with Hindi names).

What to bring

  • Your cat's usual food (or tell us what it eats)
  • Any medicines, with timings
  • The vaccination certificate
  • A favourite blanket or toy — it smells like home

Good to know

Day out questions

Anything else? Ask on WhatsApp — we answer fast.

Will my cat be safe around Tejas and Toofan?

Yes. Introductions happen only if your cat is curious, and we read body language, not the clock. Your cat has its own quiet room to retreat to, and only one guest family visits at a time — never strangers' cats.

My cat is shy — is a day out still a good idea?

Often, yes. A calm day is a gentle way to build confidence: many shy cats spend the morning in their own room and come out by the afternoon. If your cat prefers its own space all day, that's perfectly fine — you'll still get the photos.

Is a day out a good trial before boarding?

It's the best one. Your cat learns our home, its smells and its rhythm for a day, so the first overnight stay feels familiar instead of new.

What should I bring for a day out?

Your cat's usual food (or tell us what it eats), any medicines with timings, and the vaccination certificate. A favourite blanket or toy helps — it smells like home.

Do I still book free and pay after visiting?

Yes — the same promise as a stay. Book free, meet us (or take a live video tour) and pay by UPI or cash on drop-off.

Can two of my cats come together?

Yes. Cats from the same family can come together — set the number of cats in the form and the estimate adds them up.
